Ah! Thanks, Fred. Aren't you funny! Anyways, you were close - it is HamsterTubePimpin.

So, I see you have two rounds to get it in the A!

All I need is a couple more tenths and I'm there. Flipper out qualified me...I'm so ashamed.

Understatment of the event...but how did you let Jojo out qualify you? Where's Nick when you need him to take him to the bar...

Holt crap! Just went on selfcast to look at the live feed. They're finished 2 rounds of qualifying already. The damn lights are off. Last time I went in 2004, racing went on into the wee hours of the morning. The first time I went in 2002, it seemed like the racing went round the clock.

Not just two rounds of qualifying, two rounds or qualifying PLUS one round of "rapid" practice (3 minute practice run in heat order).

They changed the practice schedule a couple of years ago and we haven't been racing all night anymore. It's nice to actually get some sleep.

On the number of entries thing, other races have been smaller this year too. There are plenty of reasons for the low turnout. The biggest problem I see locally is more people quitting onroad than are starting out. Less racers every year is a bad thing and club racing has died out compared to what I remember. There's a ton of offroad racing around me with a lot of new people running.

There's actually not a lot of complaining this year at the track.

You are right Fred, Off road is becoming vastly popular here in the Northeast. Seems to be much less expensive to start up vs On road.

Dirt Oval racing is alive and well. This year's Custom Works US Open Wheel Championships are next week, sold out in 3 days... 430+ entries!

Racing sideways is cool...

I see there is only an "A" and "B" in touring rubber and foam.

"I made the "A" in Cleveland" doesnt have the same meaning it used to.
Al ot of people are not willing to miss a week of work and drive/fly far anymore.

This is definately a disturbing trend.
