jla8874, we are not a company as big as Novak/LRP in which they can do large promotion event and sponsor most of the races/drivers worldwide. Although our discharger is not as popular as NOVAK/MUCH MORE, we are confident ours is the best.

Dragonfire, the "HOLD" function is actually invented by us! Try to hookup a voltmeter to the batteries on the NOVAK SE and our discharger, you will find what is "HOLD" meaning.
hi, i am a hobby racer, and i am happily using my team wave discharger, would you believe i have "let go" my much more discharger after using my 1st team wave? not the i have a team wave 2 discharger, which works perfectly with only 1 touch on the button.......i have tested and believe in their product,

Team wave, keep up the good work......

Hey if any of you guys get one of these speedos please post up here and let the rest of us know how it works out. I am very curious as to how well the turbo drive fuction works because it would be the shizzle for stock 17.5 racing.

RED is ALWAYS faster

It does look good and it is supported by one of the best wholesalers in oz. It will definatley be looked at if the programming is functional.

Have fitted this speedie the RB 30 to my ABC Genetic Mini with a 17.5 SP motor. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, due to the weather. Will give the car it's maiden run on Friday night. The speedie has a hole at the rear of it to allow heat to escape from it as well as the small hole in the heat sink.

The speedie comes with the Turbo function off. I will try the car with this function enabled and disabled and compare lap times.

At this time the speedie does not come with a programmer, however this is being worked on and software updating as well. Info from Feral batteries thread in Australian Racing.

Will post pictures tomorrow.

Later

Calvin.

Default RB-30 Fitted to 4WD MINI

A couple of pics of the speedie fitted to my Mini.

Will be giving the speedie and car arun tomorrow night. Hope to have some positive feedback.

I initially had problems working out how to adjust the settings in the speed controller. That came down to user error, usual male thing, you don't need to read instructions. I eventually worked it out with the supplied instruction leaflet.

Thanks for the links Teamwave.

Finally sorted it out after some trial and error. Hope to see a programmer released for this speedie.

Thank you

Calvin.

Well I recieved the RB30 and 10.5 motor a couple of days ago, and it is a lovely piece of kit....

I am changing it into my first car at the moment, but everything seems to fit, and work VERY well...

If you have any questions, please ask away

Hi there,

I am not sure if they will be coming with a setup card like Losi, but to change the settings using the light system was very easy to understand, and it also comes with some very clear instructions.

There is a small jack on the ON/OFF switch which I assume will be for some sort of card or PC based programing.

Sorry I could not be much help,

Maybe Team Wave will be able to help you more, but I know they are very busy.

Yes, a hand held setup unit will be available soon, which can also connect to PC USB for firmware update. RB50 will be available very soon.
