guys...any update on temperature cutoff recommendation? even at 120C, it still cuts out and leaving at "off" is pretty risky

did anyone compare the latest version of rbs with genius genII or Tekin?
Is the 2.10 sw a big improvement to the previous version?

Q1. No
Q2. It seems better, if not better it takes some of the guess work out of finding a good working profile, so it sort of simplifies settings with as good a performance.

I am running Team Wave motors and Team Losi, both 13.5 coming off at 60c MAX and the speedo around 30c.

We run on a tight twisty track and do not feel the need to run the turbo at all, as it comes in not long before you need to brake for the corner, so it will just generate more heat for not really a faster laptime.

To give you an idea, my nearest competitor is running a Tekin with turbo on the same motor. I am 80/27 on a 416WE and he is on a 78/23 on the same car.

He IS faster down the striaght, but I am the one still winning.. I have used his car and all though its quick, it seems far less drivable than the Team Wave.

Nice though it is to have THE fastest car down the straight, it does not always work out when you check your lap times.

Given all that.... I have tried the turbo, and I would say the Tekin and Team Wave 2.1 firmware are very comparable.

Hope it helps a little bit, always more than welcome to drop me a message if you need a hand

Hi things are going well this end and im very pleased with the results so far and we are still doing some testing with gear ratio and speedo settings.
It is good to find out what settings other people are using.
I will post my settings when i have found the sweet spot.
