Default carpet foam tire question

Ive never raced carpet before but i have a carpet TC and a bunch of GRP foan tires for it (28mm). What diameter should I true the tires to for racing. 0 the new ones have alot more foam that the ones on the car - i just dont know how much to true. Also are there guys at teh track who will true your tires for you. Im thinking aout don Bending corners carpet

the GRP tires you have come pre-cut to 58mm, alotta guys cut down to 57 but 58mm will be fine as long as your body is safe of sharp points!

This same is true for all sedan/touring 1/10 scale Foam tires. You can run them out of the box, but the most predictable and consistent handling usually starts in the 57-58mm range.
