dave,

is it better to use a brush with high content of silver? others says not to good coz you hav to change your brush a couple of run compare to others that last long.

Tamiya 23t Type RR
Tamiya 23t Type TZ
Tamiya 23t Type RZ
Thanks in advance!
sorry for this late reply, i found these specs in their respective boxes...

Type RR - 28,000 rpm / 225g/cm
Type TZ - 26,500 rpm / 500gf/cm
Type RZ - 27,500 rpm / 500gf/cm

other tamiya 23T stock motors ...

Type R - 28,000 rpm / 225 g/cm - non rebuildable
Type T - 27,000 rpm / 230 g/m - non rebuildable
Type S - 27,500 rpm / 230 g/cm

note that the torque unit varies ( g/cm or gf/cm or g/m) but i think this is just a typo in the japanese-english conversion all of these motors should be rated at the same torque unit (but which one, i dont know )

I have run both the Tamiya RR (using 4499 Trinity brush ) , RZ (using 4499 Trinity brush) and TZ (Epic brush). I find the TZ much better than the two for me.

Default RPM on 23T motor

I just bought a Tamiya RZ motor, and trying to tune it to get a higher RPM.

What is the highest RPM that a 23T motor can do?? And why it is so low compare to a moster 27T?

Also, does anyone know what is the timing deg on the RZ, because I don't think it is 24deg.

Thanks in advance
