Dave,

That indeed is a major diference....
Did you test the gunmetall with standup endbell also?
I'm asking because you mentioned standup kinda being the trend for 23t.

Regards,
Pizza

Nope the RR only came in a Laydown version..

RPM Versions of 23T motors seem to be OK with the brag brake effect..but a torque version with laydown brushes....is a pain..with oneways

i have over 30+ of these motors that I have tested and run and I have only found a few that you gear the same.. ..but most 23T`s are geared between 5.3~6.6ish for a medium size track and also what version motor you have
Thanks Dave, I might get Katana 23T TS.

Good motor..I really am begining to like thsi one from ORION.. it really shines on the track...huge power out of the hole on starts!!this motor and the Kawada VT-R seem to be the kings for torque right now... my Lap times are about .5 faster per lap over my RPM based motors

New Luna?! Have you run it on the Dyno yet? I like my current Luna alot (LII in a ST can) ..
I take it the ATT is the torque version? Both Standup? I couldn't find it on their website (still looking though) I think i might have to pick one up today, give it a quick run tomorrow morning!
I will be getting to the track around 6:30 tomorrow.. Get some practice in!

I think i understand the drag brake effect or Laydown motors now too
