The STC-X is a great 23t laydownbrush motor that has a very wide torque curve..gear it around 5.3~5.5
the ATLAS motors are good to......there's just to many to choose from

Hi Dave,
I have a couple of questions. With the motors with one stand up and one lay down brush wish one is on the positive and negative side?
K.O. have some kind of Booster. Does it help in stock, and in modified also why does KO drivers don't use it. Not legal I heard? Becouse I saw a KO booth on an expo and they gave a demo and it seemed to make a motor be as fast with less apm draw. True?
Thanks,

It could be part of what Kawada calls r-coating ,it helps with cooling ,I'll check mine and see ,i have never taken it apart before .Kawada is using this process on all there motors now, including there newer 23t motors. If the motor has the new DSE connectors .then it does have the r-coating,and it helps to reduce heat.

r-coating
I have talked to people who have a Kawada 23t motor ,one that has the r-coating and one that didn't and they said that there was a slight temp differrence between them.So i would have to say that the r-coating works, and you know what they say a cooler motor = more power.
As for the DSE connectors i wish other motor companies would do something similiar to there motors, just makes for a great connection .

But I am using the Putnam X-brush for both the +&- on the SR and I noticed a bit more Torque and RPM with this brush and the Standard Springs
