whats the different between red xenon and atlas blue stock motor.

Dave,

the older xenon red and blue as compared to the newer xenon griffon red and blue. they also have the green and purple ones.. any different in between?

also in my earlier post ==> ... any comments on paradigm signature series stocks and big jim's motors?

?? Green Xenon 23T..??? are you sure..

anyways the Older Red is a Really fast motor and still gives some of my newer 3mm core Xenons a run for there money...and as for the Older Blue.... Tons of RPM....more suited for a large track ....

and the Best of the New Griffons are the "AKA: and "AO" or Red and Blue in Japanese
the "AKA" has the new screw comm and the "AO" has the standard comm.. both make good power and torque..

not knowing what that "G" stands for..my closest bet was green! LOL... not green?...emm..how about gray?

the "G" is for GOLD... hhehehe it`s there torque type motor.....and the "KIN" or GOLD in Japanese is there new one..

Hi Dave, may I know of Eagle makes good motor? I got a LHS selling eagle stuffs, I know they do make good chargers, but how abt their motors?

Most of there motors are based of a ATLAS Can..good stuff but I have yet to try any...

Explain the 3mm core thingy to me....a guy at the track tried to explain it to me but his english/my japanese is terrible.

OK the 3mm is the section were the wire wraps around the poles of the arm.... and hence buy the cross section being 3mm vice 4.5mm there is less wire to use so it almost comes out to the same amount of wire use on a normal 4.5mm core 21 turn motor..hence them being faster and having a different gearing recomendation..

i'm getting my griffon red soon. any gear recommendation for a small to mid-sized track?

btw, ur avatar shows the atlas's toyomiti edition right? any preference over other atlas stock motors?

SX9 is not really punchy enough for stock, besides, it got a longer run time. So use the mode as aggressive as it can...

Gear the Reed at about 5.6 on almost any track and it will rip!!!
as for the Toyomiti ...that motor moves!!
very very fast but you have to gear it in the 6.2 range
