Default Stock Class Gearing

Im moving up to stock class and im in need of some help. I would like to know what would be a good recomended final gear ratio for a Xray T104FK using a CO 27 stock motor. The track is technical with a long main straight it is located in Wodonga Australia thats if anyone has raced there before. All help is appreciated.

How big is the track?

6.8-7.5 is typical...but you may find yourself as high as 7.8 or as low as 6.0 depending...I pretty much always start a CO27 with 7.5 and move around from there.

Easiest thing to do is goto the track when someone fast or faster is already running, go up to him and say "hey mate, what's your FDR..." No two motors will be the same, but it will save you some time to get it closer in the ballpark.
