Gear information module and pressure angle
Want to know for out 64 pitch and 48 pitch gear, what is the module and the pressure angle? thanks

Your module is the diametral pitch divided by the number of teeth
m=Dp/N
diametral pitch is defined as the number of teeth per one inch of the pitch circle diameter
For the pressure angle, its the angle between the tooth profile and a radial line at its pitch point.
Some pretty simple plug and chug for your module. The pressure angle would be a little harder to figure out but they are usually a set standard for pressure angles.
I dont have any gears in front of me to calculate the stuff out. I also have bigger engineering fires to put out
Why do you need this information anyway?

I was wondeirng that also. Must be making his own gears!

Thank you for the information. Yes, I'm trying to make my own gear. The problem is I don't have a machine to measure the teeth. If someone knows, please let me know. thanks
