Trinity sold a 5x1 mod a few years ago. It was pretty useless. That got close to the point where the motor would barely work. It spun fast, drew a ton of amps and was impossible to use on the track.

6 turns were rarely used as they were inefficient so run time was a problem and had poor driveability. You would need to get them very low to make time and then you would get a lot of wheel spin exiting corners. This made the cars handle bad. They also would spin so fast they would throw winds pretty regularly.

7 turns were the standard motor before the BL revolution in all 6 and 5 cell mod classes. In 6 cell even 7 turns would throw winds all the time.

Now its 3.5 BL with 5 cell and 4.5BL with 6 cell or Lipo.

We'll wind anything you want.

We still sell a good number of 6x1's, but 7x1 is more typical.
