GP3300 Unmatched
Hi everyone,
I bought some unmatched Gp3300 cells and i wonder should i zap them or just use it as it is?
Which would be better?
I ran it un-zapped, what i fell was the car has plenty of punch and it was consistent throughout the run. But my matched packs are giving more punch at the beginning and loses the punchiness after >2 mins, and it remains until the 5th-6th mins.
so, should i zap the unmatched cells?
Any ideas?
Thanks.

what are the pros and cons about zapping?

you can zap the batts to improve the voltage and lower ir.
however, bear in mind that the performance which you can extract from each pack ultimately comes from the amount of effort you put into the maintenance. you can have the best batts but if you do not take proper care, it's money down the drain. (unless of course you are a top sponsored driver who can gets a new pack for every race). in some ways, the better the pack, the more care it needs to maintain the voltage/ir numbers.

Don't the GP batts come zapped from the factory? If so, you won't see any improvement on a new pack of cells.
