Default GEARING HIGH OR LOW

Hi can someone tell me if I was gearing a kd 19t at 6.2 final drrivve to make it faster would I have tto gear at 6.0 ffinal drrive or 6.4 final drive. I am running rubbers on a big track

Bud the lower numerical value for gear ratio's will give you more speed at sacrifice of a bit of accelleration/punch. The higher numerical value for gear ratios will give you slower speeds and better/faster accelleration.

With roll out its the other way around ie:
lower numerical roll out value is slower speed and better/faster accelleration
higher numerical roll out value is more speed and a little less accelleration/punch

thanks that helps so am I at the right final drive for a kd19 turn?

cant speak for gear ratio but we run them at around 28mm - 32mm rolll out depending on the track.
