I am pretty sure that everyone would agree that Scotty has forgot more about the RC industry than most people even know. Now look at the way he runs a race its the best I have seen he is fair and never puts money before the racer or the event. Maybe bigdog your circle of friends that have these opinions have had a bad taste in there mouth but like someone said earlier if he pleases 90% of the drivers/racers which I am sure its more than that then he is doing his part.

Is anybody from the So-Cal area or just out of the area coming to SpeedWorld this Friday 4/18 for practice? Saturday we do race, so come and join us. The reason is the track will not be ready to practice on Friday because of the construction going on next door and dirt is still every where’s. They are supposed to be done this Friday late afternoon with the dirt. If you are coming to practice please let me know, it takes me about 6 hours to prep the track and wash it because of the dirt. It will be ready for Saturday, no worries. I do not want to get it ready for Friday if I don’t have too, because I will have to clean it all again Friday night for Saturday, it is the bad. If no one is planning this Friday then that would be great, but if you are planning I will do my best Thursday night and get it ready.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m doing my best for you guys to make SpeedWorld the best it can be for the Reedy Race. We also are still under construction believe it or not, I am still building.

Thank you for your support and kind words everybody. It make all this hard work worth it.
Billy

Hello,

I know Billy has stated a few times that Pit Towels are required to race there. Maybe some locals can say more as to what to bring.

Pit towels, closed toed shoes, lipo sacks and R.O.A.R. cards. Everything else is respectful rules.
I will keep you update on the track condition. I will be going over to the constrution site later today. The winds as been blowing over 30-40 mph for the last 3 days. So if nothing changes by Friday the track will closed and not be ready to practice on, sorry.

Thank you
Billy

Hello everyone, I wanted to post the rules for the 13.5 class for the event.

We will be allowing all 13.5 motors that are on the ROAR Approved list as of May 15th 2008.

I should have the final hotel info in the next day or so and I will post it asap.

Entries continue to roll in, we are at the 10 day mark, so I know there are still those that are procrastinating. Send them in! We will wait a couple of days after the cut off to ensure that all are received. I have received an entry from New Zealand yesterday, so if the Kiwi's can send them in on time, the US drivers should be able to.

Thanks
Scotty

Thx,
