Jaco blue's are only rated at 32 right???? Anything less than 36 wouldn't be a wise choice. It's not over cast out here or misty like at the Tamiya track. It's clear and warm out here so we need to have a tire suited for those conditions. Track temps were already 115 this past weekend so by the end of May I'd expect them to be even higher. Just my $0.02

Good Morning everyone,

Hopefully everyone understands that we cannot choose a tire without first doing some testing on the new track. We are getting tire samples from all makers and Billy and the crew are going to be testing them. Once we have a decision, we will let everyone know.

I understand that everyone wants to know, but we are not going to rush into this without proper testing.

Things are in the final stages for entry form and rules and we hope to have it up this week. Info will be posted on www.reedyrace.com

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. You can email me through the website.

Thanks,
Scotty

Hello everybody including you naked bench racers, LOL. I have not received any tires at this time and when we do our test on all the tires I will send Scotty and Team Associated all the info on the test, consistent laps, time difference, weather condition and track temp. First I would like or need to have all the tires from all the interested companies too send them to me ASAP. I would like to receive the tires at or around the same time if possible for proper testing. I will have the test done ASAP and send all info to the proper channels. You will hear nothing from me (Billy) until I have spoken with the organizers first and then they will relay the information to you. It is not my position to let the information out before contacting them. Plus, I can keep my status from everybody and still be man loved, LMAO.

I did check the weather history between Tamiya track area and Roseville for the last 5 years. The difference is 7 - 12 degrees hotter in Roseville. Our average is 72 and Tamiyia track area is average of 65.

I have received dozen of phone calls, that's why I have posted this info.

Thank you Billy
