Side by side NiMh packs are easier the discharge by rack dischargers. i.e. Tekiin doctor. It discharges @ 2amps, and cut off @ .09-1v. Light bulb discharger are still used but by experience they cut off too low if forgotten them. Ruin a side by side pack 4600mah with only 5 cycles. it will kill the weakess cell. Even though NiMh don;t carry a memory.

Lipo you should discharge @ 3V per cell. or 6v 2C lipos, 7.4v 2C @ 6V cut off. Lipo's probably discharge at manufactures specs. Most lipo'e have a balancing port. Balancing every 3rd charge is recommended. Good lipo chargers Have Charge, Discharge & storage function.

Lipo's if racing, there is only lipo's with hard case that are legal. there is only 9 lipo that are legal with ROAR. ROAR webSight will tell you which ones are legal.

Questions??

I have a question reguarding an Integy zero-thirty discharger. I just picked one up used. Is there a minimum amp rate for it to work properly? Do I need a 30 amp or giher power supply to run it? I apologize ahead of time if it seems like a dumb question but this is the first discharger I have had other than a novak smart tray. Thanks.
