Having trouble with bearings

I wanted to clean out my bearings on my xxxs, but I cant get them out. They are so "protected". Do I have to take apart basically the whole chassis to get my bearings out or am I missing something?

Yes take all the bearings out and tear apart your car. This may seem like a drag but it really helps to have clean and free bearings. You will learn the car more as well.

I got my bearings out. To clean them I'm soaking them in denatured alchohol, then I'll spray them with some pressureized air. Should I oil them after that, I plan on racing in a week or two, and maybe a street run or two from now until then?

Yes, after cleaning make sure the bearings spin freely and add a drop or two of light oil such as Trinity 'royal oil' or singer oil for sowing machines (the cheap option)

Once you start racing you'll find after a while that bearings are curcial for performance(if you let them get dirty). I clean my bearings at least once each month but more if needed, you'll feel the difference in performance with clean bearings v.s. dirty bearings.
