Default Team Orion 2008 Brushless Motors

I was perusing Team Orion's 2008 catalog (view it here) and noticed they're coming out with an updated line of brushless motors for 2008. They seem to be releasing a 10.5 and 13.5 both for sanctioned "spec" racing, and then versions that apparently aren't legal?

Does anybody know when these will be available, and what the difference is between, say, ORI28140 Vortex 2008 Stock 10.5 and ORI28133 Vortex 2008 Racing 10.5?

Also, will the motors still be Feigao based? There's some text talking about how they've been designed by Oscar Jansen, though presumably that was coordinated with Feigao. Their forthcoming ESC also appears to be a Feigao OEM. Will Orion have done any special kind of software for it, or is it mostly just a different sticker?

The new motors look cool, though the fact that they used a rendered picture in their 2008 catalog makes me wonder how long it will be until we see them, and what the final product will actually look like.

That ESC looks like the speedpassion GT which I thought wasn't feigao but hobbywing or something like that?

The Vortex SL motors look similar to the older line of speedpassion motors although the vortex SL are Sensorless. Not really sure what to make of the two different lines of stock motors. I'm thinking rotor diameter differences. One is ROAR legal the other isn't.

Yea, I guess that's where I first saw them as well. My hope with this thread was to get more information on them.

The sensorless motors do not look like Feigao to me. I'm still not sure about the sensored motors. If they're not Feigao, then who is the OEM I wonder?

I think we're talking about different sensorless motors:
I think the Vortex Sl look like this SP motor:

The other Orion sensorless motors look like the sensorelss motors that come with the SP exige ESC:

The sensorless motors almost look like they have a little Castle in them. :-O
