The Cefx 12th scale is another car to look at. It is a T-bar car, which was mentioned earlier. You can also get different length T-bars to further dial in traction or steering depending on track conditions. The "Japan Spec" car is made to run on asphalt. There also is a version made for Brushless applications.

Personal opinion follows....

After trying 3 different types of 12 scales I've decidied that until a 12 scale car comes out with out a T-bar and split packs I would not buy one...

The DB12R came out and I got one and never regretted it what so ever...

Default team corally usa

I'm currently doing some testing for team corally usa and the car on asphalt is amazing car with the link system with a floating rear pod has created a car that moves swiftly through chicans with amazing ability you will not see amoung other chassis ...the front-end is interchangeable with 3 other front-ends that work amazingly and I'm currently using a associated front-end that gives the car great steering..
