Whilst it wouldn't be easy to tape into a TC, it'd probably still stay down if you squeezed the tape between the output and the other cable.

I might get one just to try it. Shame it has a crap connector on it and not 4mm poles. I guess it'll be marketed as a replacement to a traditional stick pack.

MiNI Ready

My conversion for the Mini Cooper.

BTW I think these are being sold cheap because they would fail ROAR DROP testing.

However the Core 3250 Passed Roar testing

The casing is so poorly glued that all you got to do is split it like cracking Crab legs .there is no tape holding the battery's to the casing

remove the BATTERY

Dremel as needed at the ends for the wires and then

INSTALL the BATTERYS and glue/shrinkwrap the case.

I like to use shrinkwrap for stick packs because it makes a tighter fit in the MiNi also note the WEIGHTS are held in by the shrinkwrap and the battery gets installed UPSIDE DOWN for lower CG

This is BTW TCS Legal...(orginal label is under the weights)

BTW: this will Void the warranty

I did a similar mod to my Core-RC 3250 packs... put the wires in the same spot as the Core 5000 pack, and I got rid of the balance connector. I cut the red and black balance wires and kept the blue wire... and have it coming out with the main leads. It's a nice clean look.

But yes it does void the warranty, whatever that is? Personally I have never expected to hold any company to a warranty for batteries after they have been used. I guess I would do something with a DOA pack...

What is your opinion , 3250 core lipo? Do you think the Orion 3200 lipo are better than the 3250 core?

I think these are the Same OEM as the Core 3250 and are being dumped cheap because of the Failed Roar Drop test on the hard case shattering

odd.. this seems to be the first yeahracing product that doesn't seem to be up to snuff with their other good quality products, given that the seams are glued poorly.

I have no idea really but I expect the Core 3250 to be pretty good. I just got them myself, and I don't own an Orion 3200 although I can get my hands on one. I hope to compare them and others soon...

Isn't it better to have the case taped to the cells rather than the whole thing shrink-wrapped? That way when the cell puffs, the case expands rather than building pressure and potentially exploding.
