Anyone know what car this is?

Evoracer 07-03-2003 02:09 PM

Looks like a Predator. Haven't seen one in a while but I'm pretty sure. I'll look up the company and post the site for you....if I can find it still.

Cheers, I have no idea what it is, I've just bought it over the net an just wanted to know the make/model.

I beleive that car was made by a company called tenth technology, not real sure though, I remember seeing it when I first got started in this hobby.

Thanks guys, you really are masters. It turns out it is a 10th Technology Predator DTM. Do you know if these are good cars?

Matt Howard 07-03-2003 02:25 PM

it is a tenth technology predator

Evoracer 07-03-2003 02:26 PM

The Predator is not a new chassis but in England it is pretty well thought of.

Looks like an old car...

I heard a rumour once when I was in England that Associated supposedly modeled the TC3 after the Predator. How true that is???...........wouldn't bet on it. Still a pretty cool car

Pembalap 07-03-2003 09:27 PM

just wondering if anybody knows whether this company still exist or not.

I had one of the Predator buggy a few years back.

AE did decide to go with a shaft drive because of the predator. obviously they didn't copy the suspension but they did use the shaft drive as a model for their own.

I saw last year that they were still selling the car and had price on their website, but it seems the car didn t change for years! If the website still exists i think they are carrying the parts .

Long before TCs became popular, the Predator chassis was an offroad buggy - longer arms, inboard shocks etc.

In same fashion, Tamiya's MantaRay underpinnings begat the TA01. :p

Evoracer 07-03-2003 11:45 PM

Website addy is www.ttechracing.com/
Looks like they've moved beyond the Predator but the site is not very informative.
