front 1 way
why not use the new front 1 way for the pro3. it is supposed to be lighter and have redesigned outdrives which will fit the cvd more securely. we discussed it in this thread sometime ago. just search for it.

one way anything in my pro 3
Guys;
I was NOT able to find the NEW HPI one-way here in the USA. (3 months ago) So I bought the OLD design one and really do not see any problems with it. Really helped tighten the line under power. The upper deck helped too, but I had to go 2 steps softer on the springs.
Sushi Boy;
I also have a Reflex NT and a HPI Super Nitro, both with Picco's w/Novarossi Slide Carbs.

Oh well.. i think the design of the outdrive is OK too, but anyway. Mine is weared out and the edge has been chipped, probably the CVD pop up during a crash (it won't pop out during NORMAL driving) and chipped the outdrive
Just ask this question coz I am wondering if the XRAY's one will fit or not.. as their design has 4 slots.. and seems lighter and stronger

Stopping outdrive damage...
1. 10mm shims on the diff to mount it centrally (naturally offset)
2. Keep shock length sensible (67mm max)
3. Run sensible ride height (don't jack the car up, 5mm is fine for a tourer)
4. O-rings on the shock shafts to limit up-travel (2 on front, 1 on rear)
5. Make sure you are using the updated outdrives (more material on cup, thick rings with slots).
6. Try not to crash!
Stiff parts for the car on carpet...
1. Top deck
2. Carbon graphite arms
3. Maybe a rear brace
4. Maybe a stiffer main chassis as well - the HPI graphite moulded (A381) is actually stiffer than the Hotbodies deck - I think HPI's own plate chassis is stiffer though.
The rest of the car is stiff enough in my opinion - but if you like purple bits...
