There is a pic on www.rcracing.com showing the completed repaving job at SW. As usual, Billy has his act together. With the larger paved area, he can host both nitro and electric events.

There could also be a Matt Francis sighting!?!

Do you know if the SW track layout will go in with boards, or curbs? Or combination of both?

Curbs are really expensive; so, I doubt they will be installed. As Revo says, Billy has used boards to this point.

I spoke with Billy yesterday and said that he was using boards and flex corners so there is some give if you hit them early. Curbs are really nice but limited too only several layouts and you have to stay on top of them to stay nice because of chipping and cracking. If you are planning on having a track open of some time I would think curbs are a bad idea because of limitations on the layouts. My opinion, I do not care for them. Billy also said they should have the facility done in 3 weeks or less. I do not understand why he had torn down the old track, it was sweet facility.
