Sprint 2 Sport vs. Cup Racer

Sprint 2 Sport vs. Cup Racer
I am planning to get one of these cars in the future and I wanted to ask everyone's opinion first.
I am NOT going to be racing so handling and tuning is not an issue for me. I am mainly looking at durability and toughness.
I am going to be running the car mainly on rough concrete. There are some small rocks that can enter the car.
The thing that draws me toward the Cup Racer is that it is a kit. I already have some great electronics so I don't need them. The Sprint 2 Sport radio will probably be tossed into the trash so that is a waste of money.
I might think about putting my mamba max system in the car, but first I am going to get either a 19t or 17t brushed motor to practice. I am going to use a Reedy 5000mahy 35c lipo in the car.
Well that is pretty much it, Please respond!

I forgot to mention that my budget is around $230.
I am going to order only from www.rcplanet.com because they do not charge shipping or tax to California.
