Interesting, thats the same one Dumas has in his Rev5 right now. He said he felt the smaller ones did hold center well enough for him, especially in mod and 10.5. I will try one on and see if there's any difference. Thanks Carlos

OK, I tried the Kimbrough 201 and its no better than the smaller version. The offset from the splines to the flange where the studs mount is the same.

Heres a pic explaining where the problem lies. In this pic you can see the driver has moved the servo saver forward to allow the stud/ball cup to clear the servo. Anyone else running a Futaba 9650 on carpet with a 12r5 find a solution? other than cutting the ballstud and cup down?

Andrew, by the time the ball cups hit the servo on my car, it is at full turn and rubbing on the ball cups on the links. I use this one cause it is more sturdy than the grey one mostly used for Futaba.

OK, I do love this hobby, but I am looking at timestamps and I am either needing glasses or needing less sleep to keep up. Andrew!!! It appears you went to the track between 00:51 and 04:44 to figure this problem out or took your car home. Get some sleep! Did the idea we discussed not work?

I bruoght all my stuff home this week. The idea we talked about caused the turnbuckles to rub on the arms; too much ackerman and no way to move the servo any farther back. I'll keep working on it. Obviously I'm doing something wrong.

Carlos, are you in the upper holes in the Kimbrough 201 med SS? I couldn't get the ball cups snapped on in the lower set of holes, but I didn't like how much bumpsteer there was in the upper holes. . .

LOL// omg just take out a few shims . Cut your tires down and get the ride hight correct ..Once you have smaller tires , the turnbuckles wont hit any more .

I am using the top holes. You might want to shim the outside balls with a 1 mm shim to take out some bumpsteer.

John St.Amant or anyone else- didi you ever come up with a solution, or a fix from assoc or yourself for the uneven front caster problem? Just wondering what the fix was, or which part was bad, remedy, etc... Haven't seen it here yet, but good to know what the fix is if it pops up... THANKS!!

My parts came today and I have to do some parts swapping . Not very sure yet what the issue was but its most likely one of the 3 plasticks in the front end .. DUH! lol It might be a while b4 I know for sure. I haveto do a lot of A/B comparrison b4 I have a good idea whats causing it. I had thought it was the lowers . But that remains to be seen. More later...
