Any idea on when the R5 will be available and what the approx hobby price selling price will be?

Also, this is gonna be my first 1/12 scale car. I just started running 19t/rubber tire touring cars. Will this be a good first car?

Stormer has it on their site for $199.99, which is a great price if the quality is as good as it looks in pics. I'd say since it's already up at some online places that kits will be delived in the next month or so. If this is your first venture into 1/12th you may want to stick with a car that some of the experienced locals run.

I have to respectfully disagree Mr. Arluck. An AE Strut front end, built with IRS lower arms, CRC's upper arms, caster blocks, and steering blocks, along with Niftech's pivotballs and Lunsford's Turnbuckles, tie-rods and kingpins makes a front-end that performs as least as well, if not better than the stock AE parts.

But on topic, Bob's done an outstanding job on this car.

yeah, i think they ship in march, and 200 is an awesome price, lowest lately of all cars. that kinda makes me question quality too, great product im sure, but theres something interesting with that price, maybe just becaause they make huge batches.

To answer a much earlier question . Associated seems to be moving to metric. The TC5 is also metric.

As an painter friend of mine would say, you have a cotton candy body.
