Default Rc12r5 Set-up sheets

I am still looking for set-up sheets for the RC12R5, I keep checking the Associated site but just the blank sheet. Does anyone have a source for set-up sheets for carpet?

Here's one:

http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/asso...tedRC12R5.html

The indoor season has not yet begun. My RC12R5 has been on the track for once, and is now waiting for the indoor season.
I'm still focussing at the outdoor season.

Greetings

Robert Krens

The kit came out after the end of carpet season so we really don't have any experience yet with the car in competition. The kit set up should be a good starting point. Bob the guy who designed the car ran at a couple of races last year. I think he may have run a red center spring and may be blue side springs. The oils should be the same as the kit. As soon as we get a chance to run and have a set up we are confident is better we will post it.

Not sure what other hardware is needed but the two main parts are

4650 12R5 T-Plate Pivot Sockets
4652 12R5 T-Plate, 0.075"

you also need a different chassis to convert the 12R5 to a t-bar car. check out the manual pg 14: http://aedownloads.com/downloads/man...2r5_manual.pdf

I've run my R5 a few times now and here's my setup changes from kit..

go to side black springs
reduce side shock oil to 10wt

if you have too much steering scrub, go to .22 springs on the front wheels

apart from that, no other changes and my car handles great with double pink prisms on the front and yellow prism rears on carpet.

Hey everyone.. Give me a little bit of time to get my cars built and running and i will come on here and try and help out with any Questions you might have. I will give you my best advice and opinion. But remember we are all learning and what works for me might not work for you so let's make the Associated Rc12R5 the best 1/12th scale out there.... So if you have any questions just yell out for me and i will try my best to answer ...

Thanks

I believe the popular brands are KO and Futaba

personally, i use the 9257, it's fast enough to take up the job of mini helicopter's tail control so i suppose it's plenty fast for the steering
