I ran a X12-13.5 timing oooo
SXXSS with 0-7-8-0
roll 50, indoor carpet 100ft straight.

I would think around 40-45 roll should be close for the 10.5

Thumbs up

Thanks for that mate hopefully stop me popping a motor.
so with the old stock spec would I want profile 7or8 advancing the timing or not ?
Also what about brakes Drag brake and brake strength all off completely ? I know it locks up real easy if you touch the brakes but can you get away with any.

Cheers in advance

oops, I guess it's the Pearl that correlates to the new LRP SS
We don't have Nosram in the USA, sorry for the mis-info.

Can anyone point me into a decent starting point for gearing?

Setup Sheets.
http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/asso...tedRC12R5.html

I would recommend building it stock exactly, with the exception of front width, add 2mm between the Front bulkhead and lower arm.

An extra set of #4617 bulkhead shims will be handy, also a set of #8425 kingpin shims.

As for rollout, try gearchart.com. makes it easy to set and print rollout sheets.

As for gearing, I run a track a little larger than that (100x50 ish)
My setup was with Tekin RS in Stock Spec mode
roll 85, endbell 24 deg, full cranked.
70 to 80 roll may work better for your track, but motors vary.

Cleblanc, any relation to Louis Leblanc ?
