It was in Japanese so I couldn't translate? Since the rear of the 5.1 is a mix of rc10 and rc10 oval yokomo probably redisign the rear wheel placement for even more grip? All I know is that whatever Yokomo comes out for the 12r5 I'm getting it and an extra just for the heck of it. BTW were you able to get a hold of the rear brace?

The new hub kit is meant for a specific wheel. The New Black Yokomo ones the Matsukura uses

Just figured that one out as well after reading a very bad English translation.

But what is the difference with other wheels ?

What would be the advantage to buying pre-glued wheels except the wonderfull black colour of the wheels ?

Are people still buying foams seperatly and glueing them ?

Don't know how Yokomo wheels can be different? Never owned or even knew they had one until I saw this item. Just stick to preglued wheels. Never had any issue with pre glued wheels. Xceed is my favorite. slightly heavy but tough

Looks like the Yokomo wheels are 0 offset. Attached photos taken from their website the left rear bulkhead has been heavily machines to move the wheel in more. Also a new right hub would be needed to get the chassis centered. I know that this is the opposite to Jaco as i need to shim more with Jaco then GRP due to offset differences.

dont think the bulkhead has been machined, rather the screws are offset hence the extra bits sticking out at the mounting points. Not much room to start with for a brushless motor let alone with moving the bulkheads closer

Ahhh just noticed from the comment that the bulk head is offset. Is it just the left side which is offset? On my car with the modifications i think i have about 3mm of spacers on the right side.

Hey Guy's

I have a question... I just picked a a used 12r5 what i want to do is I want to run the speedmerchant formula front end off the Rev5 on this car just to experiment.

But the holes dont line up. Does any on have a template where i can cut out the holes for the older front end i could be made out of lexan or anything like that I can drill outthe hole I just need a template or something like that

if anyone can help that would be great.
