Someone should speak to a company like Hyperdrive to make a brace similar to the Yokomo one.
I have a set of their r5 conversion bulkhead and they are very nice. The brace should workout cheaper then buying from HK

Default New Factory Team Blue screw kits

Now available from AE Factory Team blue aluminum screw kits for the 12R5/5.1.
AE#8557
Kits contain screws that will work with either a R5 or R5.1 kit.
The kit is complete and contains even the hard to get sizes on the car.
It does not include the 4-40 wheel screws as they already come aluminum in the car kit.

Press release should go out tomorow with full details.

Default 12R5.1 Front End

For those who are new to the 12R5 for carpet racing...

I have done a ton of testing lately and I want to share what I have learned about the front end setup. I have always liked 10 deg reactive caster on other cars in the past. The R5 has some wicked steering. I have tried every combo while learning about the car. I like a 5 degree angle with the lower arm spaced out 1mm on each side. No spacers to make the upper arm longer. My car is dialed with this setup. Smooth at high speed and entering the corner without pushing, then lots of middle-exit steering.

Everything else on the front end is stock. .20 springs with stock kingpin shims...3.25 upper arm spacing..be sure to make your rear width 171-172mm..

If you havent already, it is worth a try.

Sorry for the delay in this pick. I just got around snapping a couple. I ran this layout twice and it's working great for me. The chassis balances out perfectly also.
