wow!!! I don't even recognize the car. When did that come out? i'd guess it had to come out sometime in the early 70's. i haven't seen a see through chassis since before I started racing. Back when my dad was racing and I was still the little kid running around the track wishin I was old enough to race Heck you probably charged the battery pack by using some wires basically lookin like a mini version of jumper cables and hooked it straight to a car battery. And i'm sure somebody is probably reading this thinkin i'm nuts. But I remember those days. My dad's been racing r/c since at least 1972. Cause I know he's been doing it my entire life and i've been around it the entire time. But I still do not recognize that car or esc.

Awesome Spy shots of your new Car. I like the way you squezzed 4 brushless speedos into a project box You did a good job hiding the numbers on those team matched cells You may want to move the on/off switch through...If you run against me at nats I may find a way to turn it off.
And do you think the Associated charge cord is Li-Po compatible

I was thinking either a Jerobee, or a Leisure, I think the Jomac was a little different looking, then again it could be one of those build it yourself ones from Heathkit. Like the clear lexan chassis could you post some more pics of the car?
Thinking about it more it could be a futaba speedo, who would have thought about putting a modifed mabuchi in that car, blue end bell.
Can't be a R1, this one looks like the car has been running for a while.
Now thinking it could be a MRC speedo.

I know that it is not a leisure car as I've got two at the house. I was told that they had the first ESC out and my first Leisure car had one until I hit the water puddle in the street (less than 1 minute when I drove the car). Sent the car back and have no idea what I did with it when it came back.
