Default Where in the HE Double Hockey Sticks ..... Tamiya 60 D Tires

If any one has any idea were I can locate some Tamiya 60 D reinforced m chassis slicks that would be great and I am sure I am not alone on this one.
Yeah Yeah I know Hong Kong for about $28 with shipping no thanks.

They are out of stock all over Asia.
None in Japan, Hong Kong etc
Tamiya doesn't seem to have them at the moment. My guess .. they are having the same compound problem all other tyre manufacturers are having which could mean a delay waiting for new stocks

Exclamation TIRE ISSUES!

What's up Brandon. Can't fine any 60 D's? Well, I heard from a reliable source that they should have them by the middle of the month. Oh, no! That's tomorrow. I guess all those used tires you have will come in handy in they don't get here in time!
Why don't you give Fred a call or ask him this weekend and see what's up!
This is so typical of Tamiya, so worst case maybe Fred can bring some to the race and ony allow 1 set of tires per racer unless you make the "A". Hopefully you won't have to pay full retail.

Hay Max,

Yeah good idea but I don't know if they have any tires at the office or the warehouse. I might have to turn in some friend/favor cards to some people if I can't find tires you know what I mean like when you give someone aluminum servo stays for there mini cooper at So Cal "Hint Hint" maybe that person will return the favor. See you Saturday.

I just need a set of 60D A's... would even be willing to give up a set of HPI Belted X-patterns (mini) for trade..

Red face 60D slicks!

Is this rchobbiesraceway in Arkansas? I heard and seen a lot of the damage from the Tornado in Arkansas. Sorry for any loss.
Hope everyone is doing o.k.

Here you go guys, a hobby store in Arkansas. Have you tried Trackside hobbies in Wisconsin or SIR in Seattle. They also carry lots of Tamiya parts!
Just my 2$

We were lucky here in Jonesboro, no damage.

I have 16 sets of the 60D type A $12.99 per pair.

www.rchobbiesraceway.com,
Wow, what a gorgeous looking track / facility! The size, drivers stand, fencing, pit area are beautifull. I'd love to race at your place.

Another difference from my tracks, no place out here in So Cal has chairs for the turn marshalls !

I picked up 6 sets of 60 D's from Pete at Trackside two days ago. By the way before I started this thread I secured the tires first good thinking max. I just wanted to start the thread to help the TCS Mini racers find "Rubber Gold"

Piece out

Agreed, beautiful place. Two stairwells on the drivers stand for easy exit. Very well thought out. Also, not many rc tracks surrounded by vintage street lamps. Nice touch!

No he's not dead. That is just the way Jimmy looks after a couple of races, or a couple of the climbs up and down the stairs!
