You need the adpater that is for the JST-XH balance connectors. Based on the picture that does look similar to a JST-XH male connector.

Yes our packs will have a black/red graphite pattern. The red on the first batch of cases is not exactly as bright as we wanted it so we will change it. I know some cars have blue parts and others green and so but we had to pick a color and were staying with red.

That is NOT the correct harness. You need this one to charge an SMC pack with the Trakpower/Flightpower balancers:

What I really want is an LBA10 style adapter that's only 2S JST-XH on the end. The adapter board is bulky with the unneeded 3s-6s connectors.

I don't like the adapter boards either. They are too messy looking.

Can't you just cut off the adapter board and solder on a 2S JST-XH female plug? Or, you could configure the wiring on your balancer for 3-plug style and just plug into the center of the battery's JST-XH. That is how I did mine. I only use an adapter when I'm charging my lipo Tx pack.

I think that the adapter boards is only for the EOS chargers and doesn't use the same connection as the LBA10.

I asked the guy at AlleRC if they make a 2S adapter for the LBA10, and he said they used to, but were discontinued. I believe he sells the parts, though. Perhaps we can get someone to draw up a diagram so we can make our own.

I believe the LBA10 in the chargers and the stand-alone balancers are the same as far as connectors go.

will the 25c 4900 saddle pack have "cell bumps" like the single cell?

No humps on the saddle pack. Humps remove room for the cells which will either reduce C rate or capacity.
