Here are some numbers after a night of cycling my 28c 4000 packs.
Packs 1 and 2 are about 10 months old and my race pack is about 4 months old.
Each pack was taken up on a FMA 10s charger and then discharged to 6.0 on a GFX. Taken back up again and then discharged and recorded. Voltage sensing leads are placed on the battery side of the deans connectors.
Pack #2- Mahr= 3908
Seconds= 402
Avg. Volt= 7.34
I.R.=7.7
Pack#1- Mahr= 3947
Seconds= 406
Avg. Volt= 7.33
I.R.= 7.7
Race Pack- Mahr= 4005
Seconds= 412
Avg Volt= 7.37
I.R.= 7.5
What the package says.
Pack#2- Mahr= 4044
Seconds= 416
Avg. Volt= 7.33
I.R.= 7.3
Pack#1- Mahr= 4141

Avg. Volt= 7.33
I.R.= 7.3
Race Pack- Mahr= 3995

I.R.= 6.9
When I first got these packs they were spot on the numbers on the box. I use these packs every week so if packs 1 and 2 are ten months old they probably have at least 300 cycles on them.
My race pack gets better as the day goes so the numbers in this post don't really do it justice, but even that pack has about 150 cycles on it.
Great job Danny on a stellar pack, I look forward to more of the same in the future.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. But are the SMC 4000 28c packs Roar legal?

trying to get some 3200s and/or 4000 with 'top' mounted wires, not the side mounted wires... I thought a while back there were separate part#s for wiring types..but looking today I don't see that on the smc site and looking up the 3200 pack (Part#: SUM3228LD) on tower pulls up a pick of the side mounted wired pack. ..how do I ensure I get the top mounted wires?
SMC packs are awesome...need more but top wired...thanks.

I was glad to see 28c 3200s! Not every class I run has a weight limit!
Thanks again.
