That was all taken into consideration. What we did was offset the hub so that with Jaco wheels, The rear axle will be centered and at 200mm exactly with 2mm of shims per side. We also went ahead and made new 2mm axle shims for this. You can now run the rear as narrow as 196mm if you like or go to the 205mm limit. All this and still have the beauty of the BL motors practically falling in and out of the pod.

Don't want to drag my old A/C MaxMod that we used "in the day" out as that would mean two tire truers to bring each race day.

Thanks,

Default Tire Arbour

I have a older 12V Hudy truer with a 1/12th adapter, the screw on end is tappered and locates the wheel perfectually centered when tightened, I thought it was only for the 1/12th wheel but it will work for the 1/10 JACO wheels too, just rememeber to remove the floating center locator sleeve on the arbour.

The car comes with an AE 14.5 lb spring. We found this to work best in most conditions.

If you are speaking of a tamiya yellow spring, i believe that is a 13.5 lb.

Well looks like we are going to have a WGT class starting out here. So it looks like after the Birds I'll be picking up a DB10R. Will the kit be available with the wide pod after the Birds? Is there going to be a version with a shortened chassis to maintain the wheelbase like the 12RR? I gotta start looking into some cool bodies for it too...so much to do...so little time
