The battery is bottom loaded and is secured with 2 flat head 4-40x1/4 screws. We designed it to fit 4 cell or 7.4 volt trackpower saddle pack placed on the tray side by side as a brick pack. I will be getting the trackpower pack loaded up as soon as it gets here. I went by the dimensions they listed and it will be a direct fit with no modifications.

I am going to be making 1 more change to the car. I have developed a pod droop adjuster that allows you to adjust the pod droop with 1 set screw instead of using the shocks overall length. This makes setting pod droop so much easier and very similar to how it is done on a TC.

looking good. I like that bumper, lol. It wouldnt work if a person stuck a brick lipo in from one side towards the rear middle? it would look stupid but it might fit?

If you really wanted to you can run lipo down the center. I didnt want to use them that way due to the disadvantages in handling but it can be done.
I went with the foam bumper as opposed to the C/F to keep things safe. A carbon fiber can do some damage to a turn marshal that just happens to walk in front of your car.

Yes, the center pivot, flex plates and pivots, all ballstuds and pivot balls, pod, damper tubes, front end(with exception to 1/10th kingpins and springs),servo mounts, and mostly all of the standoffs. I had to replace 2 of the standoffs and added the top deck/battery tray mount.

Jimmy,
Where are you planning on running it at? I have been interested in these but figured even if a couple of folks locally bought them it would end up going the same direction as F201, run a couple of races and not enough people show up at one time to keep things interesting.

When it comes to running with the TC class. Most locals wont protest too bad if you show up with only four cells. They are likely to say something like. "Try to stay out of our way." Then of course if you win, well then they will take the opportunity to DQ you. All of that wouldnt stop me from running.

here they come, from what i have heard there is a couple company's working on bringin back this class, put a vintage style body or whatever on it and you have a VERY cheap and fun class, tires last forever, brushed motors last forever without a cut, basically like someone told me, it has been in his trunk for 3 monthes and stays tehre till racing...
could be just what onroad needs
