Lay down Dampers

Lay down Dampers
I'm looking for any info on a ONroad 1/10th car that has laydown dampers. I know of the Predator that was done but is pretty old and hard to find now, but are there other types out there? I've got a particular type of racing class in mind where I need to get CG as low as I can (and becuase we build a metal cage around them the lower the better)....Any help would be appreciated..... Alternatively has any one converted a TC4 to a laydown type design...

The car you need to look at is the TA05 IFS. It is the only TC that I now of that lays down shocks (front shocks).

The Tamiya F201 also had cantilever shocks on both front and back.

There is the latest Tamiya TB03 shaft drive now, as well as the TA05-ifs, ifs-R & TA05 ver-2.

Unsprung portion is whatever "moves" with the suspension. If the shocks were flipped around, the cylinders would not move with the suspension...

The tigermoth LCG has a thread here. I think everything you are discussing can be clarified there. It does look like a nice car. Now it just has to be track proven.
