Futaba MC800c help
how do you solder on a (suddenly forgot what it's called...the small battery lookin' thing) capicitator? to my ESC?

well
the power capacitor should have one side with a white stripe of some sort this is the (- negtive side) solder that wire on the negative terminal of the ESC and solder the other tab which is the (+ positive side) in the positive terminal. I think thr original is preet useless try using a higher micro farrod rating like 8000mF Anywayz hope this helpz

thanx! mine is 3300 uF...and it didn't come with one originally. is there like a step by step way to do it? my dad is worried that it'll mess up my esc...and thats not good

Just loook carefully there really no right and wrong or steps on doing it, here let me try to give you some step:-
1) indicate where positive and negative is, the negative side should have a white stripe or some sort this is the (-) side. and obviously the other side is (+) side.
2) Solder the (-) side on the negative terminal of your speedo
3) Solder the (+) side on the positive terminal of your speedo
4) Ensure you insulate any expose terminals with heatshirn or something just in case a piece of metal etc.. lands on the joints
By the way didnt the speedo come with instructions ??

The Capacitor is soldered on the motor side wires.
-Neg to the Blue wire on the ESC.
+Pos on the Red wire ont eh ESC.
Do not solder anything on the black wire.
hope this helps Hope you have better luck with your MC800 than I did... I fried mine after 2 days of practice.

thanks for all ur help! i dun't go to the track very often so i guess i'll figure it out on my own..and no the mc800 instructions didn't show how to solder the power capicitator. thanks again

What's to figure out.
Here is is in b&w:
The Capacitor is soldered on the motor side wires.
-Neg to the Blue wire on the ESC.
+Pos on the Red wire on the ESC.
I have also seen upgrade kits like the worlds kit fo r the LRP made for the Futaba.
