Im installing a Speedpassion GT in a TA05. The ESC has to be behind the motor and the receiver in front of it. Can I run the wires under the motor or would they melt or get damaged?

This is a penguin chassis and the wires just dont go well around the motor like intended.

Why not go on top of the motor instead of the bottom. Bottom tends to get scratched/damaged easily if there are holes. Just an idea tho.

I could do that too but I guess the same questions remains if it would melt the wires if touching the motor. Its a brushless motor by the way.

Shouldn't be a problem.
The motor wouldn't get hot enough to melt the wires.

You must not understand the question. I never see a car where the wires between the ESC and receiver are touching the motor. Since you are running a cyclone they are on the same side of the motor. Mine are on either side of the motor.

No, I have tried the RX behind the batt, and the servo, and ESC wire went right to the side of the motor, not under, just right around where the sensor goes.....

I try out some weird stuff, but it doesnt hurt to try new things
