Default bl motor tuning

I figure that since these things are now roar legal we might as well figure out how to make them faster. Heres what I have found w/ most motors in an effort to get that extra couple watts out of a motor.

-stock bearings are junk so replace them w/ ceramic.
-once you mount your pinion take a dremel & cut off any excess armature, 1gram spinning at 35krpms uses alot of energy. You purchased those lightened pinion gears for a reason right?

so, what do you guys know?

Is there one or two bearings in the novak (or all?) brushless motors? I know the one of the front but is there one in the can? Is it replaceable? If so, then how?

The motors are made so you can replace the bearings, there is more then one in the motor. The bearings may only last you a month of racing, but the motors are made to last you 2 years of racing.
