Small update from my FWD car.... As the traction was not optimal, I tried to put a lot of weight on the front train... Not so easy after that to do a proper electronic installation lol

Sorry for the picture...

What FWD cars can you get the gearing down to around 3.0 to 3.3 for 17.5 blinky racing ?

Sorry for bumping up an old thread

I am just curious what would be the best 2WD-FWD chassis at the present ?
(which is still available in the market)

Is it true that 2WD-FWD would benefit from more economical running cost ?

I've toyed with the idea but haven't bothered to see what it'll take to do the conversion. What parts are needed etc. would like to know if someone else has tried.

Hi, all. I'm new to the forums. Just recently restored an FF01, but ended up using a Civic Type R3 body (I used to have an '07 Civic Si coupe, and that body was close to the looks; I painted it the same color). I think I like the handling of the FWD chassis more than 4WD! I had severe off-throttle oversteer at first; didn't think that was possible! But I finally got that dialed out. Besides gearing for speed, how much better handling is the FF03?

Wow. No posts for a year. Guess FWD really is dead (in R/C).

The FWD class locally died when the TCS series was cancelled in Canada. I still have my FF-03 pro, but recently added a Huge FF11 chassis kit. The car always drove great and the FF11 chassis makes it even better.

I am thinking of getting an FWD to run in with the local 17.5 tourer class, mostly because I am bored stupid with 4wd tourers.

I don't win anyway so at least running 2wd against the 4wd gives me an automatic excuse and if I DO occasionally beat one it'll be a bit embarrassing for them
