this one i got off ebay for $50 not long ago.
all i have done to this one is new wheels and tyres, a big clean up.
i want to try and get the hks sticker set to redo this. the body is a bit worn but with new stickers it would come up good.
i have an interior for this one too, also fake brake rotors.

so if anyone has or knows where i can get hks vectra sticker set please let me know

Hi guys!

Just got myself a mint Castrol Civic FF01. The previous owner assembled it but didn't paint the body. I intend to have this car detailed exactly as it looks on the box.

Now, I have a dilemma I would like your opinions on. This has to do with the collectibility of my unit.

First off, I have a friend who is a very talented detailer and he is able to make exact replica front and rear light buckets. Therefore...

-Do I ask him to detail the body with the aforementioned scale light buckets?

-Or do I use the decals that come with the body itself?

-If you like the light bucket idea, should I put a light kit in there as well?

Please let me know which would be more desirable for the car as a collector's item. Thank you very much in advance for your comments.

Hi guys,

If anyone is interested, I have a NIB Yokomo YRF2 Special for sale. I am asking what it owes me, which is $650 AUD, plus postage anywhere worldwide. The kit is complete, however I have broken the seal to look at the beautiful parts inside...all baggies are unopened though. My intention was to buld and shelve the beast, so it's a reluctant sale.

I am located in Melbourne, Australia.

Happy to email pics...PM email address for pics ofr more info.

Cheers,

Steve

probably a noob silly question but is this a different class, or can you run the fwd touring cars with the 4wd ones? would be fun to lay some smackdown with front drive in 17.5 blinky =)

I tried running my FF03 with a 17.5 Blinky with the 4WD's, they put the smackdown on me BIG time. So i decided to change my motor to 13.5 non-boosted with some timing advancement hoping this would level out the playing field, but to know avail. I still got the smackdown put on me, I averaged 3 laps behind the 4WD's for a 6 min. heat. If your track has a lot of turns than I wouldn't bother trying to race the 4WD's, they'll just eat you up in the turns. You might have a fighting chance on a track with long straights and flowing turns. Hope this helps.
