Thumbs up

I ordered my LE kit along with quite a few spare parts based on the part numbers listed in the manual from A-main. The manual lists the tweak plates as #3270 when actually they are #1771. After the order came in and I realized this I sent John @ CRC an email. Not only did he send me two correct #1771 he sent a return shipping label to send back the other tweak plates. Customer service like that is hard to find these days. Thanks John!

Nice!!!

So, maybe the new LE kits include the 16-ball spur gear???

After your maiden voyage, try red springs in the front. For carpet, go to the 1/12th scale king pins and 50/55 springs in the front.

Looks like the new kits do come with the 16-ball spur, at least mine and Ingo's did.

I had a few races with my Gen X, definitely needs 1/12th king pins to settle the front end down. How much rebound in your shock Bill??

Thanks
Mark

One of my shells for the IIC in vegas WGT 13.5 class, every thing is painted on this shell by that very talented Alan Smallwood.

My shock currently goes between half and minimal rebound. I pretty much support the rear pod with the spring.

Ok so I need some setup advice please.

I have just converted my X10 to an Le and ran it for the first time in ages this weekend after running another chassis which incidentally is going very well.

I need to get more mid corner steering as it seems to push too deep into the turn and I dont want to sacrifice too much corner entry.

Current setup

10 deg blocks and shims all back
Red side springs
Red centre spring 30wt oil
50k side lube
Medium width on front
Lilac tyres.

Thanks

I ran mine on carpet, although not very often. Seems to me that I was able to control front grip with how much I sauced the tires. What surface are you running on?

Anyone know how long it normally takes getting a user account setup at CRC? I registered yesterday afternoon and would like to get an order in but I'm still waiting on my web account to be approved.

Thinking everyone in UK with WGT cars is on carpet...Right?

First...CRC 1/12 scale king pins and 50/55 springs on the front.
Second...30k side lube.

How are you saucing tires? Is it allowed at your track?

Cheers!
