few things.. racing this thing on asphalt this weekend.. what seems to be the mean rollout for 1s/13.5 with a plain ol' gtb.. no fancy turbo here.. also how are you folks getting your cars to where you need to ADD weight? i'm sitting at about 930g WITHOUT the body!!!.. our minimum is 930g..

also, where are you all running your batts? middle, towards the front or rear?

tally, gearing will be something like 88/43 with 2.1" tires.
I'm not sure how guys are getting below 930g. I was 955g. I think it is mainly a light servo and ESC. The CRC chassis might be heavier than some of the others, too.

Seems like the ideal is to have the weight as far back as possible. That means having the ESC behind the battery ideally, but if you can't do that, battery all the way back.
It'd be nice if someone who is actually fast at WGT would chime in. I'm very much a newbie to it.

With a 1S pack, mini receiver, JR Z3650 servo and SPX ESC, my car is about 935 to 940 grams...

1) minimized top deck to being only an "X". Probably dremeled away half of the material.
2) cut down top deck posts to bring the top deck down to the 1S pack. CRC now offers these posts.
3) replaced center shock/antenna mount with just a ball stud for the shock
4) minimized tires down to 2.08"
5) ceramic ball bearings throughout
6) ceramic balls in a 88T spur
7) all titanium screws. Likely about the same weight as the aluminum; but, more durable.
8) less paint on the body

Could easily hack away at the main chassis plate for more weight savings.

But, I do have the CRC foam bumper, thicker top deck on the rear pod, center ESC mount and the wider rear body mounts...all add a little weight.

The Gen-X 10 setup that Brian Wynn of CRC gave me at the IIC was absolutely killer for the high traction carpet conditions. Could drive my car full throttle everywhere if I wanted to...not necessarily fastest...but fun.

Hopefully, Brian will post it for you soon along with some replacement part recommendations that I just have to call "The Package".

Those CRC boys were at the top of their game at the IIC.

Sorry, had to brag ... lol

changing over to a GM90 ESC and a Novak Ballistic 17.5 improved my time by 4 seconds, and this was only the first meeting with these in the car after very little set up time.

Hello, I am about to get me a CRC Gen X10.

I am new to pan cars, but I have been running F103's for many years.
On our track we run gear ratio of 5.0 to 5.2 with 13.5T motors.
We run Zen F1 tires that we don't true, they are 57mm to start out with and have no idea about rollout. Running 0.4 pitch spur/pinion. 20T or 21T pinion and 104T spur on them.

Now here is my question.

How can I get this converted to the Gen X10 when I know what works on F1.
What spur is in the kit? What pinion do i need?
I also see there are many different compounds of tires to choose from in color coding. Have no idea about what that means either, would much prefer them to be shore rating. Our track is medium traction carpet. Will the spec WGT tires do from Jaco?
Jaco World GT Spec Tire, Front (Lilac)
Jaco World GT Spec Tire, Rear (Lilac)

Have ordered 3 Protoform bodies, Corvette, Sophia and the Mulsanne.

Thanks
