So far my SE works fine right out of the box on asphalt. Actually like it better than my LE. The only thing I changrd was the center shock oil-50 weight and the old red spring. Will be trying it out on carpet this week.I llike the changes on the SE.

@Airwave,
I remember someone telling me that the Slider Pod conversion was about $80 and they felt it to be more cost-effective to sell their current car and get one that came with it.

I don't think so but I'd send CRC a e-mail and ask them.

I called John at CRC and he put together the parts needed to upgrade from the LE to the SE.

And I assume that there will be a formal upgrade soon; but, CRC did it for me now.

So, give John a call.

e-mail to [email protected] about the screws. It appeared from the newest SE cars I have seen posted that they now come with somewhat different screws because they do not appear to be all red like the older kits.

You do definitely get properly sized screws included with a kit.

Bill Dumper Ficco et al,

Are there any detailed pics of the way y'all are mounting your CF and foam front bumpers on the LE/SE? I think I've seen some with screws securing the bumper to the CF plate, but I can't find them. An explanation would work too. I am assuming you mount the CF to the chassis with Al screws as an intended breaking point?
