Is it possible to run these types of bodies on the 10LE? Will it be impossible to drive? To be for track use but not racing. Only just for fun driving. Thanks.

I happen to race VTA and WGT and yes the Cuda fits just fine. I don't happen to have a camero on hand but it should fit as well but its a little more narrow in the back.

These will include a CF forward stop with hardware but I have yet to cut that part.

I am hoping to have the first batch done by Friday so if you are wanting a CF battery tray for your GenX 10 Legacy chassis, Please send $20.00 each + $4.00 flat rate for shipping in the Continental U.S.
I can only take PayPal at this time so I will have to eat the fees myself. Oh well...
Please PM me for my PP address.
Here is a pic of the prototype.
I'll have more pictures of the tray installed in the chassis tomorrow.
Payment sent for 2.

Thanks Neil.

What are the benefits for the reversed servo vs the standard angled servo.

taken directly from the CRC site here

"These new reverse servo mount plates allow for more room to move the battery back and forth in the CRC Gen-X 10 and 10LE. The servo is now flipped to the front and mounted flat, lowering the CG and lightening the car. Also, more space is now open to put all the components inline and/or move the battery further forward."

would like to here more on your setup? i am jumping from 1/12 scale to 1/10 thinking i like it more. when say white front springs what are you meaning and how high did you raise your damper tubes and did you raise both ends? whats the purpose of putting the side springs over the side links?

I used the 1/10 long kingpins on the front and ran the white side springs.
Some guys use the 1/12 kingpins and run .50 fronts.
I liked the feel of the bigger/longer spring.

The dampener tubes were raised 1/2" on the graphite side plates.
Then I mounted them on the top of the upper pod graphite plate.
The rear graphite side plates had to be raised to .65" in order to give enough room to move the side springs over the links. (you can use 5/8 standoffs and a washer).

To sum it up...

When I did this, the car would have alot of chassis roll, but wouldn't diff out or become upset in the turns on a high bite track. I can drive it like a 1/12
