I ended up going with th X10 LE to get my feet wet in the onroad scene. I'm putting a Tekin RS/13.5 in it since thats the class I will be running in. Can you fit a standard size servo in these or do I need a low profile servo? Also any tips on must have upgrade or anything in general is much appreciated.

For the long arm set-up you'll need, the front "H" brace. You remove the center spar of the brace, and mount the two remaining tabs on the suspension arms, the caster blocks then mount to the ears just inside of the front arms.

how many followers do you have? last season we were running 1s 10.5 boosted and it was alot of fun but on we were lacking new enthusiasts. my home track is a bit smaller than yours but from 10.5 to 13.5 it was only lacking a few 10ths... nothing to significant....
at first i was against running 13.5 blinky.... too slow!! but now running 13.5 blinky makes the class more challenging and levels out the playing field to who is a better/consistent driver with the correct set up and corner speed!!!!! and not just relying on top end speed. (and living in the NW we have some of the fastest drivers to practice against)
this year the WGT class has doubled and is the most popular class at my track.... and its still growing!
good job roar

We only have a dozen 10th pans right now. It is slowly growing, but just giving them that speed made the class much more exciting and has drawn the interest of a few new people. I know close stock spec racing is fun, but too much comes down to motor, battery , esc setup and tuning , while open class is all about driver and speed handling.
this is a debate that i don't want to extend on.. glad you guys are running pan cars!
BACK TO THE SUBJECT..... Hi Dumper!!!!

I'm running the foam bumper and "long-arm" set up on mine, aside from that, my car is box-stock.

I bought it from a guy hear on the forum. It already has these mods done to it so I should be set. I still am not sure what motor to get. I will be running blinky 13.5 and I use a Tekin RS speedo. How do the Tekin motors perform onroad? I use Tekin motors and speedos in my SC truck and Losi 22 buggy so I would like to use the Tekin but not sure.
i have owned a 13.5 tekin motor and hated it! and i have tried allot of different motors. so far the motor of the month seems to be the revtech.... AND WOW ITS AWESOME! great on the low end and top. runs very efficient and its definitely the best motor i have owed so far (was that a shameless plus )

Not wanting to start any debate , but we are experienced racers and if I had to run 17.5 or 13.5 blinky, in 12th I would find another class. Too slow.

Because this brace was originally sized narrower to fit a 1/12th scale car, you cut out the cross-brace between the two mounting pads. Works great!

That motor is quite good but if this is your first venture into this class, any motor will do till you get accustomed to a pan cars driving characteristics. They are extremely direct, especially on carpet. Took me a little while coming from rubber TC. I think I am now starting to get a handle on it after about a year of playing around with my WGT.

FYI...The newest Team Powers motors advance another few degrees.
