there is also a great app for your cell phone called gears. i use it constantly. for andriod users, just search "gears". it will calculate fdr and rollout.

2.Plan to run 1S lipo 10.5 bl is rollout the same for GT10 as 1/12th
3.Tyres diam front rear.
4.Tyre grades for carpet
5.Tyre grade for asphalt

as regards set up , springs ???? ,shock oil ????? Droop damper oil ???

Not sure if the Mckune takes the front brace but defo fit it if you can it goes across the lower front of the chassis. We run 55mm tyres and only run the lilac specs on carpet as it takes the choice out.
Rollout will be roughly the same as 12th. I run standard centre spring but use 12th front king pins and springs and heavy side damper fluid. Oh and wide front end and middle on steering arm. Works great

McKune chasis has the exact same hole line up so yes it will fit a front brace

Tellan,

look on the crc manual down loads and look at what the Pro guys are doing... thats always a great starting point.

1.Front brace yes or no If yes ,is one available. (crc lower brace, mckune upper or lower brace, manutech)
2.Plan to run 1S lipo 10.5 bl is rollout the same for GT10 as 1/12th (no its different.. go to www.gearchart.com)
3.Tyres diam front rear. (club racing or competition?)
4.Tyre grades for carpet (depends on the class spec)
5.Tyre grade for asphalt (depends on the class spec)

After running the car today the rear seemed really locked in but generated some push . I havent changed my setup for a while and we cannot change tyres as we run the control lilacs. I need to get more steering off power I am running 10 deg caster and all spacers behind the arm for maximum corner entry.

Move some weight forward, like maybe the RX over the front axle, works wonders for me outdoors.

Good day!

If you add a little chassies roll you will get more traction on the front outside tire. This can be done several ways, softer front springs, backing off on the side springs or using softer side springs, lighter tube oil. You can also chaing how you use traction wash, more on the front and less on the rear.

All these changes should add more steering / loosen the rear traction. Try one at a time and see how it works for your track and driving style.

Default front ride height

Ok,
here's a (dumb) question:

where do I slide the gauge in to check front ride height?

I try to get it as close to the front kingpin as possible, but the visibility is bad.
I feel like i'm somewhat guessing half the time.

Thanks in advance.
