Jeff,

Go to the CRC website and get Hupo's setup for the car. Will basically work on any carpet track.

Only special parts needed are 1/12th scale king pins and #50 springs for the front end. These parts only cost a few bucks.

Thank you, I'll be running outside as well as inside.

There's a really cool track in Kissimmee, Florida.

Hey, I will be there in Orlando in mid-January. Have a vacation scheduled the week just before the Birds. Can you recommend any local hobby shops in the area?

For such a monster sized track, you might want to go two cell; but, not sure what others may be doing with their cars locally.

What kind of electronics do you guys use? I'm wondering if I should swap over my Mamba Max Pro from my SC10 and use it there and then just buy a Novak 13.5 motor.

Any recommendations on servo? I'm sort of on a budget but I know you need a fast servo.

Thanks!!

Servo the JR 3650 is a great servo, and can be found from $60-80.

Shawn Where do you get that Hobbywing 1s esc?

Jamie, hope to see you/meet you sometime, I'd like to pick your brain and see if you can give me any advice. I appreciate your input. I definitely would like to check your ride out and see if you can show me how to setup the car.

How do you modify the MMP to 1s? I'd rather just swap my esc between truck and car since I'm on a kind of ghetto budget. If I have to get another esc then so be it though.

Got my 1S Xerun from HK on EBay. Took about a month to get here. I still dont know if I would recommend a HW to anyone. When running 1S they dont have the rip that the Tekin guys do. I have only had it out to the track once (1/12) so I am still working on setting the ESC/Motor up properly. I have heard from other guys on RC Tech the HW is fast, but I just havent seen it yet.

Cheers,
Shawn.
