ALL CRC kits in Europe use imperial screws!!! There are NO metric versions available from CRC. Not in 12th or 10th scale. There are a lot of CRC divers out here and all of them use imperial screwed cars...

McKune Chassis

ordered 2 yesterday, but have not recieved a comformation that the order was recieved.
When ordering it went direct to Paypal and got the address from there (I assume) as there was no where on site to leave an address.

Hoping the order arrives soon as my club now want to run a GT1 class for 1s 10.5 cars, so i am planning to run a GT1 spec along side my GT2 spec (2s 17.5).

OOPS!!!
Should of looked further down my emails. The confirmation is there ... lol

Exactly. Also one less point of failure.

i guess that is the easy answer, but even still i check mine all the time and it is occasionally tweaked out of square.. shimming the axles a few hundredths at the wheel is more than enough adjustment most of us need and it would be 4 less screws and two less carbon pieces.. make no mistake i completely understand the design choice as when this car was planned there were practically no rules. they were hedging their bet so to speak with the layout and it's flexability, but now that the class's rules have been sorted, the car can certainly be streamlined .... and lightened..

Nigel,

I am Sorry for the inconvenience. I shipped out your 2 chassis the same day you ordered them on 1/19/2010 via USPS Priority Global. You should have received an email with tracking information. I have resent the tracking info and shipping to your email address.

I checked tracking this morning and it says they are hung up in customs:
- Into Foreign Customs, January 27, 2010, 11:58 am, GREAT BRITAIN
- Arrived Abroad, January 27, 2010, 11:47 am, GREAT BRITAIN
- International Dispatch, January 22, 2010, 1:27 am, ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS)
- Arrival
- Electronic Shipping Info Received, January 20, 2010

I will continue to check on this until it is delivered. If something ever happens in anyone's order I will make it right.

If anyone orders a chassis from me and has a problem please contact me at:
Mckune Design, LLC
(360) 891-0484

visit my website for information or my email address.

and one more thing:

Congratulations to Dave Ehrlich and Brian Bodine for making the A Main in World GT at Snowbirds. Both drivers were running a Mckune Design Chassis. Dave ending up finishing 8th overall and Brian finished 7th. Also, I will have some pictures up soon of the rear pod plates with engraved and paint filled names. I made them for all of the top CRC drivers and I guess they were a hit.

Thanks,

Troy

Not sounding good.
Last time something got held in Customs from America it took 2 months to deliver, then they not only charged me the price of the goods, they added a holding fee, so ended up costing me 3½ times the original price
